A larger locking chamber makes it easier to hold and install. The locking chamber has been redesigned to improve security.

A double walled funnel designed entry into the locking chamber guides the tail smoothly into the seal.

The 2002 NFPA Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers, (pages 10-12; paragraph 4-4.2.1) now requires that extinguisher pins be pulled and that tamper seals be replaced as a part of the regular annual maintenance.
